The Ozone layer dissolves from CFCs and halons. An astronaut floats away to the Orion Nebula. The shuttle sails through the stratosphere. Churches and homes built on shifting sands become ruins threatening the glorious frontier of the Ocean. Volcanoes erupt turning our wilderness into moonscapes. Glaciers melting, is global warming real? Can we stop time?
In 2001 this quilt was selected for the Artspace 3 Person show , and for the International Quilt Assoc. Show in Houston Texas in the same year.
This piece was sold and hangs in a private residence in Alexandria VA
